“ This place always has a line so I was excited to try this past Saturday morning! Everything was so delicious- we tried the coffee, doubtless burrito, banana bread and banana coffee pie. The seasonal cold brew was interesting flavor cold brew with a citrus flavor and was nice to try, interesting combination but next time I prefer just the regular cold brew. Doubtless burrito was delicious! The meat was tasty, and I like how the egg was a little runnny. And the salsa is delicious. The chocolate banana bread was fire!!! I love banana bread and this is one of the best I've tried. And the notes of chocolate add a nice flavored. The banana chocolate pie was good, albeit it has a strong coffee flavor. Inside is really nice, fun hipster vibe. ”

“ I found this place on an Instagram reel because someone had said this was one of her favorite brunch spots in LA, and I totally understand why. So happy I found this place because Doubting Thomas is one of the top asian brunch spots I've been to so far with some of the best dishes - starting off with the Doubtless Burrito. Literally gives me no doubt as to why I should eat it because the filling is so flavorful!! (Just thinking about that meal makes me excited lol) The pork just melts in your mouth, and that sauce they give you with the burrito is absolute heaven. The burrito on its own can get a little heavy because it's so rich and on the greasier side, but the sauce really balances that out with a refreshing tanginess, essentially a salsa. Overall it's a burrito I never really find in most brunch spots as they always have the same kinds of burritos, so I highly recommend trying it out. Honestly the burrito may have felt like the main entree but the other dishes were also incredible. We also got the seven-grain pancakes which was like a dutch baby (I think?) with a thin crispiness on the outside and super soft and moist towards the center of the pancake. I loved the cinnamon-y apples on top and it wasn't too sweet even with the powdered sugar topping. Now, everyone on Yelp probably talks about this but THERE'S A REASON!! The passionfruit pie is just something I think everyone should experience a bite of at one point because it's really amazing. I'm not the biggest dessert person but the texture is so soft that pairs so well with the crunchy macadamia crust. I will say the pie itself is pretty sweet, but the crust is nutty and salty enough so that they complement each other. Imo there could be more passionfruit seeds because I love to crunch on them and they have a slight tartness that I think also helps with the flavor profile of the pie. Passionfruit pie is just something I don't see in most bakeries or restaurants and I was delightfully surprised - I hope I didn't hype it too much because it really is a killer pie. It was a usual busyness inside, but there's a lot of seating and the interior as well as the surrounding area outside is gorgeous. Service is great too, so there's really nothing to doubt about this :p ”

“ On a weekday morning, it's not too busy. Plenty of seating indoor and outdoor & they're dog friendly too. I ordered the bacon breakfast sandy with a side of potatoes & some pastries to go. You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. The bacon breakfast sandy had crispy bacon and a runny egg- perfect size if you're not super hungry (it's on an English muffin). The side of potatoes are delicious with a sauce that has a little kick. I also ordered some sweet pastries to go- they rotate the flavors/fruits. They definitely have more sweet options for pastries than savory ones. Great place to come with your dog or meet up with friends for a meal. Parking- street parking ”

“ Had the sage sausage sandy and a winter special, pan con chicharron. Also got a golden milk. Everything was tasty but the chicharron was so good with herbs and onion and a spicy Peruvian sauce. Too full for dessert but will have to try them next time. -Very personable service -Cute shop with lots of outlets as a bonus ”

“ I really liked this coffee shop in historic Filipinotown. The main issue is parking is hard to find. The streets are busy, so jay-walking takes patience. I wish I got a pastry, but this just means I need to make another visit. I got the doubtless breakfast burrito $16, and it was so so good. I got it take away, so they packed the salsa in a separate little container. I thoroughly enjoyed this burrito. The coffee I got was the fig leaf cream cold brew. The fig leaf smelled so good, but I think I would rather enjoy cold brew without heavy cream. I would come back! The server was really nice. He was smiling a lot. I saw a lot of people working on laptops and maybe spotted a few outlets here and there. They have a lot of indoor and outdoor seating available. ”
